Xbox 360 Street Fighter IV FightPad - Akuma

OK, this is a great controller! I got SF4 the 2nd day of release and played with the 360 controller for many months. I was determined to get the Akuma but it was too pricy early on. Eventually I got it and all I can say is that I can pull off the combos much easier and the controller just has a superior layout. Some combos are still very hard for me like Vega's, but as for the Shoryuken type - it's great. Plus it's great on many others but the combos where it's: charge <-, ->, <-, -> 3 kick or 3 punch, take some getting used to, Vega's is a similar charge ultra/super. Great controller and it's much more comfortable playing with! SF4 itself is a great game too, 9.5 my book!

If Madcatz's FightPads have one great thing going for them, it's that the controllers are roughly 1/5th the price of most decent arcade sticks on the market. Those who are interested in trying Street Fighter for the first time and know better than to try and rough it out with the standard Xbox controller should seriously consider the pad as an affordable alternative to emptying out wallets and collecting change from the couch for a TE or a HRAP. Most everyone will use this controller for Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV, games that require more practice and refinement than other major fighting games such as Soul Calibur or Mortal Kombat. With that in mind, if you aren't sure that you are committed to the game enough so to learn the combos and tactics, Madcatz's FightPad is a good way to dip in and see if you like Street Fighter without the possibility of leaving disappointed and broke. Put simply: the game is not for everyone.

this fight pad is sweet the d pad reminds me of the sega saturn my fave for old fighting games ive been playing king of fighters and street fighter 4 this fight pad is so much better than the xbox 360's crappy d pad and i cant use the joystick i just cant play a fighting game with a joystick or arcade stick i love playing fighting games i grew up playing them on the sega and snes so im used to using a d pad this makes me love playing the new game's so much more and the controller is made very well for being made by madkatz cheap brand but capcom backed this one so it works very good and feals solid not cheap at all any person who like's playing fighting games but cant get the moves down with the xbox 360's controller buy this controller i got mine for 25.00 im going to be buying 2 more i love it hope this help's
