I was looking for something that would charge through the USB and not take up too much shelf space. I bought this charging dock even though there were no reviews. So I took a chance and I have to say I am very happy with it. It does its job perfectly and comes with a battery. It works quite simply. plug it into a USB port. Put the battery in it. Light turns red to show it is charging. Light turns green when finished. Very simplistic, and simple is good. It charges the battery in less than 3 hours, and it lasts pretty long. I don't think it lasts as long as the Microsoft battery, but hey its cheap. It is noticeably lighter than the Microsoft battery. The Microsoft battery also charges in the dock, so you can keep swapping batteries without a pause. Overall it works as you would expect, maybe even better. I have had no troubles and I am very pleased. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By = Fun: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Xbox 360 Power Dock (Accessory) Overall i think it's great for the price but there is a BUT,the battery wont fit in your controler for the first week it will jump out during gaming sessions i am not sure why but it's working fine now but the first week was crazy. This review is from: Xbox 360 Power Dock (Accessory) Pros: I only needed to recharge the battery 2 or 3 times in the entire 6 months I've had it, though I don't play very often. Cons: The battery casing fell apart after 2 or 3 charges. Overall: It was only $13, but I don't recommend it. Inside the casing are 2 unlabeled, rechargeable AA batteries. Save yourself the headache and get some regular rechargeable batteries & charger, and use the battery cover that came with your controller. |
