With the upcoming release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, PDP has joined up with Marvel to create the Marvel Versus Fighting Pad. The Marvel Versus Fighting Pad is a wired six button face controller that is specifically designed for AAA fighting games on the Xbox 360 and classic games that are featured on Xbox Live. Just like an actual arcade machine, micro switch activators have been used for the thumb stick and the front 6 buttons to give the user that true arcade feel and accuracy when playing fighting games with this controller. The thumb stick is custom designed and constructed to act like a real arcade joystick but with the more comfortable and compact feel of a thumb pad. The 2 x 3 action button facing is ideal for all of the AAA fighting game titles out there, making the Versus Fighting Pad the ultimate choice for fighting games.

Granted mine still works but it's not precise anymore the right microswtich has a weak click.

I bought this on launch night for MVC3 and it worked great...for 2 months then the stick started to wear. I finally broke down and bought a proper arcade stick of which this controller is no substitute for.

With some work this could be a great product but as it is it's a decent collectible but not worth it for day to day gaming.

imo...the dpad is better on this controller than the SF4 one...

the buttons are a little lighter and may take some getting used to but its no difference really...

another thing i really like is the start and back buttons or on the top of the controller...its much easier to press them and now you can taunt in marvelvscapcom 3 quite easily..

the back of the controller is soft felt material..so thats good too..

only thing the sf4 pad has that this doesnt is..on the sf4 pad there was a switch on the bottom were you could select, Left analog,right analog,dpad...this was useful to navigate the xbox menus without having to use the standard controller...but thats no biggie really.
