Summary: Xbox live is the best service out for any of the consoles, hands down. 2008-11-22
Comment: This set is a great deal, I found it for around $30. The only way it could really be any better is if it were free. The included headset is not the newest version but it works great. The included game isn't very good(Bankshot Billiards), I didn't even bother downloading it. 200 points won't buy much on the Xbox Live market place either.
If you want to play games online on a console this is a very necessary accessory to own.

Summary: Everything is expired--Your buying a headset 2008-08-11
Comment: Beware. Everything in this pack is expired by over a year. You are pretty much buying a headset and 200 points, THATS IT!
As previous reviews said, the $20.00 off a game expired in in 2006 so I was expecting that...but the arcade game code is also expired and to top it off, the xbox live 12 month code expired as of 6/30/2007.
The only good thing is the headset is the old style with the microphone switch near the controller.

Summary: Good deal for online multiplayer --- 2007-09-17
Comment: Honestly, I don't care about using the webcam that came with this pack, but it's still the best deal I could find, besides some ones where I was put on indefinite 'back order' for a kit without a webcam.
This is an easy and convenient pack that will give you a year of online play, a headset, a webcam, and some 'xbox live marketplace' points and a couple free (if cheesy) old arcade games.
It ships free with the 'super saver shipping' and arrives fairly quickly. I got mine and am waiting until HALO 3 releases before I activate my account.

Comment: Worked fine but it would have been nice if the offer for $20 dollars of an xbox 360 game was current .... the offer expired 6 - 7 months before I even bought the product.

Comment: The Gold kit is a must for X-BOX 360. Just don't be fooled by the $20 off on the box; it expired over a year ago. There may be a better deal elsewhere.
