Summary: I don't have to buy it to know it sucks! 2008-02-13
Comment: I was looking around for a new faceplate for when I bought my Xbox 360 Elite. This was the coolest faceplate/skin combination that I have ever seen. Then I read the reviews. There are so many problems with these things that it's not worth buying them in the first place! What the heck was Mad Catz thinking? The only reason why I want this is for the Chief/ODST version, but because there's a risk of getting a Covenant one (I HATE COVENANT!) or a Grunt one (...), I'm not even going to try and gamble for the one I want. Also, I don't have an Intercooler because I think the Xbox should be able to cool itself without any additional help, so knowing that some thin pieces of plastic could heat up my Xbox seriously makes me consider whether it's a good machine at all!

Summary: Not Happy 2008-01-08
Comment: I am not happy with this product! I ordered this for Christmas for my husband because he loves playing Halo. The package that we received was not of the Chief... they shipped us the alien version. He would have preffered to have the Chief but he thought the alien would be better than plain white so he went ahead and put it on his Xbox 360 before I knew it was the alien he had received or I would have sent it back. The pictures do not line up which I think is tacky. I am very disappointed.

Summary: Faceplate 2007-11-27
Comment: The side plates are really just stickers that are somewhat frustrating to attach. That said, it does increase the aesthetic quality of your 360, well if you are a halo fan.

Personally i would have been happy with just the plate, the stickers were kind of a bonus.

Summary: Will warm up your console 2007-11-16
Comment: For those who have the older xbox 360 console, beware that it will warm your console up. I know it is not covering the air vent, but it is like putting on a light jacket for your console. Just be careful.

I am giving it a 3 Star because it does look nice and add a great touch to your xBox 360. But, I cannot give it a 5 for the obvious reason that it would help heat up your xBox.

Customer Rating: 2 Star
Summary: Mad Catz is retarded! 2007-10-16
Comment: As some of the other consumers have stated, the faceplate is rather poor in quality, as it is simply a sticker (except for the actual faceplate). The sticker comes rolled up in it's package, and there are already creases on it before removing it from it's package. It's also a pain trying to get a stick that size onto a X360. What the heck were the Mad Catz designers thinking when they packaged this? It would have been a decent purchase if not for the poorly designed packaging. I'd ask for my money back, but it's simply not worth my time. :o(
