Xbox 360 Elite Halo 3 Fable 2 Bundle

Comment: I love Amazon and have no problem buying anything here. For the xbox 360 Elite i would go to a retail store.
I just purchased the xbox 360 Elite console from a retail store to guarantee the Jasper chipset..which the time of this review is april 2010..the Elites now have the Jasper chipset which is supposed to solve the rrod iisues (crossing fingers). I bought my son the original zephyre chipset not realizing the newer falcon chipsets were supposed to be better. After getting RROD on the original i returned it and upgraded to the Elite making sure it had a Falcon chipset. 2 years later here i am again with the E74 Error. Microsoft has extended the warranty to 3 years to cover this error only . So off to Ups to ship back my 360 to microsoft..by the way UPS knows exactly how to handle your return as they do approximately 5 Xbox returns a day. In researching i came across info on the new
jasper chipset. Went to Best buy and you can see the 12V lower left side through the cut out..also make sure the manufacturing date is after 10/2009..mine was 1/2010 (woo HOO)..so for 299.00 i purchase another Elite console with the Jasper chipset (spoiled spoiled american cant wait a month for microsoft to return the console :)..). Best buy had the bundle there too for the same price as just the console but i couldnt find a jasper chipset console (sneaky sneaky microsoft)..I figured i would post this in case it might help someone looking for a new 360..most people of course would take the bundle over the console for the same price..but knowledge is power!! possible Red Ring of Death freedom!

Comment: the Elite is freakin awesome!! I've saved what seems unlimited amounts of music to my hard drive, along with game data and other stuff and I still have 99 gigs left to use. I mean, it feels virtually endless. Halo is cool and I wasn't a BIG fan of Fable 2, but my girlfriend is so I let her play it when she's over. awesome console though. I definitely recommend it if you don't want to run out of memory

Comment: Do I really need to post a review? I think everyone knows about XBOX. I will mention that i love the netflix function. Dont expect to get any sleep for the first few weeks after hooking this thing up to your tv.

Comment: Excellent game. Entertaining for many many hours! Highly recommended for anybody who enjoys RPG's.

Comment: I agree with most reviews i've read...totally solid fun more of the same from Halo, but nothing ground breaking...would've been nice if the Arbiter had kept some of his uniquness...i.e. cloaking versus a flashlight
