Summary: Stick with 1st Party Controllers 2010-03-04
Comment: Controller wroks great for both Xbox 360 and PC. I've bought the Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Combat Controller before but I didn't like the shoulder buttons so returned it and bought this instead.

Summary: Fantastic upgrade from Sidewinder Pro 2010-03-04
Comment: I use this controller exclusively with my PC and it's great. XP and Windows 7 automatically install drivers for it and it has enhanced my game play experience over my aging Sidewinder Pro. Well worth it, now if Microsoft would just remove the listing for the "PC" controller. There's no reason to pay more for the wired version.

Comment: controller worked great for my pc. i run vista 64 bit. i plugged it in and it auto installed drivers. works great with GTA 4 and resident evil 5 (the game i use it with)

Comment: Doesn't get much better than an xbox 360 wired conroller. Works perfectly in windows as well. I always prefer wired over wireless (for the most part)...never have to worry about syncing controller, batteries and all that junk. Just keep it simple.

Comment: If you're looking for a PC gamepad, save the ~$5 and buy this rather than the "XBox 360 controller for PC". This works fine, connection is plain old USB and it installs in about 2 seconds in Vista. The back of the box even states "Works With Windows Vista", so clearly this and the "PC" controllers are the same. Presumably Microsoft is trying to score some extra profit from people that think you need a dedicated PC controller.
