Xbox 360 - Broadcaster Headset

At first I wasn't going to purchase this product because it had bad customer reviews. There were only 2 reviews but they both gave this product a 1 out of 5. Reason being is because the headset stopped working after 1 day of use. I decided to take the chance anyways because it was a great price and it was the original style xbox 360 headset(talk and volume control on the plug in switch). I have been using my new headset now for about 3 weeks and it works great. Highly reccomended for those looking for the original style headset, great price, or even a headset just for replacing an old or broken one.

So I was trying to be nice. I play multiplayer with a bunch of my friends. One of which is the only person I know without a headset. So, I decided to buy him a late Christmas present. This headset arrived literally yesterday.. He takes it out of the package. We start to play. The thing seemed fine until he BARELY touched the microphone boom. As soon as he did, it hasn't worked since. The wiring must be so bad inside the headset that now all we hear is static and cracks and pops instead of his voice. This has GOT to be the perfect example of "You get what you pay for!" I am returning it immediately to Amazon and going to keep shopping. Hopefully you won't make the mistake of thinking you can get this headset and expect the same quality of the Microsoft headset. Good luck!

We purchased two of these for our kids for christmas. The kids actually took good care of them, placing them on a shelf when not in use (they didnt step on them and break them). One of the headsets lasted 3 days and the other lasted 4 days. They just stopped working. We are now having to take the kids out to buy 2 more headsets. Save yourself the frustration and spend the extra money for a more dependable and durable unit.
