Summary: Nice money grab 2010-08-31
Comment: Good job to Amazon for raising the price by $10 on their existing stock the instant Microsoft announces a price hike. I figured they'd at least keep existing stock at the right price until Microsoft officially raises the price a month from now, but apparently it was too good to pass up. Shame on Microsoft and Amazon.

Comment: Companies that lure customers with their 'deals' offset by outrageous S&H need to be dissed and derailed. That kind of practice reeks of deceit and deception. Prova*tage has a 12 month subscription for $38.41 with reasonable S&H--that's about as good as anyone will get for now.

Microsoft has just announced they will be increasing the price of Xbox Live. I highly recommend purchasing a few of these at this price. I have updated the prices below.

3 months via Microsoft = $24.99 = $8.33/month
12 months via Microsoft = $59.99 = $4.99/month

This card comes with TWELVE (12) months of Xbox Live for cheaper than directly from Xbox. I fully recommend purchasing Live via Amazon, but the choice is yours. Also, you are in charge of if/when you pay for Xbox Live. You don't have to worry about giving your credit-card information away, paying monthly, or anything like that. Comment: This is a pretty good deal compared to what microsoft usually charges. And with the recent announcement of year membership going up to 60 bucks, it'd probably be smart to buy and/or stock up on a few now while the deals still there. Xbox live is a great online experience and all, but they charge ludicrous prices.
