This review is from: UFC Undisputed 2010 (Video Game) I thought this game was very well thought out, and very well executed. As soon as I played the game demo off Xbox Live I was hooked. I bought a copy of it and it far outdoes the demo. I've played many of the Fight Night Games, and found them okay, but all together boring when all you do is just repeatedly knock guys out. In this game there are submissions, TKO's, and knockouts, not to mention the extensive ground game, clinch game, cage game, and striking game. The striking system is excellent, and is ultimately more fun than any regular boxing game, with superman punches, ducking left hooks, and a host of other moves you can train your fighter to learn. I am able to avoid being pinned to the mat for entire rounds. True, I decided to focus on striking offense and ground defense, but the controls were still much easier to handle. They also try to make rep more important. You can only unlock new trainers or new sparring partners when your rep and cred are high enough. The means of gaining rep, credibility, and popular are more than a bit...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By yoyoduomagic "yoyoduomagic" (Florida,USA) - See all my reviews = Fun: This review is from: UFC Undisputed 2010 (Video Game) I play UFC Games since Dreamcast time. In UFC 2009, i think that much people could saw, the step that would take a next version. And the next version is here, i take some days in writing this review because I want to make a good review, after play several hours, I can assure that the game has evolved in many aspects, now is more realistic. You can enjoy even a cpu vs cpu match, i am very pleased, because you not only going to see the UFC narrators in 3D you also going to listen the real voices of the fighters being spoken on as they would act in the fight. For all the fans of fight games, this is one of those games that you must play UFC 2010 marks an now in fight games, surely other companies will have to follow this line to not remain in the past The only bad thing for now and for me is the fact that the game need a fix or patch to solve a little problem with some cuts and hurts that gone when you past to other...Read more |
