This headset is actually really good. I like the built quality of these over the turtle beach. I bought these because i was tired of buying the cheap 20 headsets. These have a bigger speaker than most. They work great with live chat, and on netflix. I can watch movies late night with out waking anyone up. The sounds are really clear in game or watching a movie. It does have a volume control for game and one for chat. You can adjust chat and game volume as you like. I've had these for about two weeks. I use glasses some times usually game with my contacts. I must say even with my glasses these headsets fell great. I have played with them on for hours max about 5 hours non stop and havent felt any discomfort.
Pros:
Volume controls, removable mic, sturdy build, and comes with all adapters need to work while playing on hdmi.
Cons:
No way to cancel tv sound except by muting tv.

I bought these on a whim because the warheads were not out yet and my turtle beach set was giving me issues. Excellent voice quality from me and from other people. The voice monitoring function can be turned off but you never will want to. These sets have the best voice monitoring of any headset I have used so far.

These headsets are super comfortable and comfort is a big deal to me. I can wear them for hours and they don't bother me & they are super light too. Most people complain about cables but it's not a big deal for me & It's easy to set up. I don't use the feature that plays back your voice because it's weird hearing my voice inside the headset. The detachable mic is long & it's good, but at times I need to speak up to be heard, idk if it's me or the mic not catching my voice at times (this is why I gave it 4 stars). I'm a very skilled gamer but these headsets do help me play better then what I already do. I hear my enemies coming at me so no more surprises :). I Also hear things I've never heard before, it's pretty cool. This doesn't really matter but they look awesome as well. I also like that I can rotate the ears to rest them on my chest or simply when I'm done gaming and I wanna put them away. So far nothing is broken & they are built well to me.
