This particular 3 character pack is currently in high demand as it has some of the newer characters released in November (Dino-Rang and Hex) ...however, the retail pricing for this 3 character pack for Skylanders figures (from Activision) is $19.99 so anything above that is a non-Amazon store buying this elsewhere and then marking up the price. I saw both this 3 character pack and another (containing the new character Wrecking Ball as well with 2 older characters) at a Best Buy in Dublin in California (for the $19.99 retail price). Don't pay above retail pricing for these characters and often there are promotions that can take the prices even lower than the retail pricing ................

We just got the Skylanders game/set for Christmas, and it has quickly become a family obsession. This game has been a lot of fun, and something my 7 year old, my husband, AND I have all enjoyed playing together. This was the first expansion pack we bought outside of the starter set. The set comes with Hex (Undead Element), Zap (Water Element) and Dino-Rang (Earth Element).

HEX:
Before upgrades, Hex's primary power (A Button) is to shoot magic orbs, and her secondary power (B Button) is to *slowly* cast a spell that summons ghostly skulls that attack/rain down from the sky (I think to start there are 2 skulls that rain down). The nice thing about her secondary power is that the skulls rain down from the sky, so you can attack from a distance. So if Hex can attack an enemy while standing safely on a bridge or behind a pillar, she's all set. The problem with her secondary power is that it takes so much time to cast the spell and she is vulnerable to attack during this...Read more

I AM SO HAPPY THAT MY NEPHEW LOVES THIS AWESOME GIFT SET FOR HIS HOLIDAY. THESE LITTLE CHARACTERS ARE REALLY FUNNY AND DESIGNED AS CUTE FIGURE. I AM THINKING TO FIND A WHOLE SET OF THESE, MAYBE I WILL PLAY THEM SOME DAY TOO.
