To start, I'm not a fan of the uber sktating franchises such as Tony Hawk and Skate. These titles at one point were fun, but slowly attempted to alter their formula into something straying from the average person who might enjoy these games.

I was on a cheap shopping binge, looking for titles I was curious about and came upon Shaun White Skateboarding. After watching a video or two, I was intrigued. The player has the ability to alter the surroundings by performing different tricks (similar in some sense to "Da Blob"). So while the concept was captivating to me, I needed to know if the game suffered from the disorienting camera of "Skate" or the ho-hum control scheme of the latter "Tony Hawk" series.

When I received the game, I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, there's a level of camp with the story, trying to tell a story of Big Brother (The Ministry) trying to control the population with skating somehow being the "good guys" righting these wrongs through...Read more

Trailer looks cool, the concept sounded different, so the final product? Flop. Bland environments and the gameplay is just boring and not inspiring i was hoping i would of gotten that feeling like i did when i played the first Skate, nope not at all. If you want a good skateboarding game then go with Skate 3
