I just bought a Wii, which come with red, white, and yellow RCA cable to hook up to the tv (red and white for audio and the yellow is for video). Unfortunately the tv I wanted to hook up the Wii to only had the component cable plugs (red and white for audio, red/blue/green for video). I picked up the Rocketfish component cables from the store and the sound and video came up, but the colors looked a little bit green-ish. I realized there was no red... Mario was no longer red, but green like Luigi! I then tried the Rocketfish cables on my other tv, just in case it was that one tv that had issues. Nope! Same thing with the 2nd tv... it was discolored green again :( Since that 2nd tv also had the red/white/yellow RCA inputs, I then tried the original red/white/yellow Nintendo cable that came with the Wii, which worked perfectly fine so it wasn't an issue with my console. I then returned the Rocketfish cables to the store and bought the Nintendo brand component cables, which worked...Read more
