Volume Two in the Standalone Rock Band Track Pack Experience
Rock Band Track Pack Volume 2 is a standalone software product, meaning that all you need — in addition to your gaming console, a TV and the Track Pack — are the peripherals compatible with your specific platform version of Rock Band Special Edition, Rock Band 2 Special Edition or Rock Band (1 or 2) to keep the party going with more hit songs from the pantheon of rock music, hand-picked with care by Harmonix. That's right, previous Rock Band releases releases are not needed.

All these songs are pretty good, the game gives you a potential of an extra 250 gamerpoints and a code to transfer the 20 songs included if you own Rock Band 1 or 2. It shouldn't be hard to sell the game once the code is used for 15-20...Read more

I did what the first reviewer suggested and purchased the game, used the code to download the songs to RockBand 2 and then sold the disc to someone else for a few bucks.

If you are going to do this, great, but if you think this might be a little morally wrong, just consider your alternative: Each of these songs sell on the market place for 160 points (approximately $[...]), and since there are 20 songs this would cost $40 to buy the separately. As a track pack, you save $[...]-$[...] overall, so it's a good deal, right? Well, no, not really.

I started looking at the songs and realize I only play/like 9-10 of the songs on the track pack. So if I had just bought the songs I play/like on the market place, it would have only cost me $[...] and I would have saved and extra $[...]-$[...].

Also, since Amazon sells the Microsoft Points...Read more

This track pack is really good for the price, but I only recommend buying it if you like at least half of the songs. For the price you can pay online per song, you should like at least 10 to 12 of these songs and consider the rest as a bonus. They are exportable to Rock Band 1 and 2 by downloading the songs with a code given on the back of the manual. Overall it is a good deal, but only if you have a taste for most of these songs.
