Summary: Had to get a new xbox 2009-10-04
Comment: Everything works fine except the cooling fan. The cooling fan plugs into the power on the back of the xbox. Then the power cord plugs into the fan. One day i smelled something funny. The next day my friend wanted me to bring my xbox over to his house. I first go down to pack it up, i turn it on and five seconds later it turns off, i think oh there must be a problem with the power cord. I go to take the cooling fans off and i discover that the the section where the cooling fans plug into the xbox had melted, infusing it to the xbox. I tried for 4 and a half hours to get the hardened plastic out of the power port. Low and behold it ruined my xbox and it wasnt covered by warranty. Now i have to figure out to dish out another 200 dollars to get an new xbox. I am thoroughly dissapoint and even more angry that a product i bought to protect my xbox from overheating has broken the very thing its supposed to stop.
