The intercooler can, and in my case did, damage my 360. It sucks current that otherwise would go to the 360, which caused component failure. The worst part? As it's not an approved accessory for the 360, any damage it causes will void your warranty and you'll have to buy a new 360 out of pocket.

I have to change my review - - - - You will either damage (melts to the back of your 360) or hurt your 360. Mine didn't melt to the back, but I had major failures with this device. It killed one 360 because of vibrations... the replacement began failing so I removed this device and now all is fine. What a waste of money. It draws power from the 360's power supply, so it is reducing the power going to your 360... thus components can and in my case, WILL fail.
New reviews - ZERO stars. Stay FAR away!

While the 360 can run hot if not properly ventalated, this plug in fan doesn't stop the 360 issues out there. You 360 and power supply needs to be in a position where air can flow thru easily. Try and avoid having your 360 and power supply on the carpet or areas where there is little airflow. That being said, I do believe this cooler helps to cool the 360 slightly. The intercooler has 3 fans running, and it plugs into the back of the 360. Then you plug the cord into it. I have a problem with the fact the intercooler uses the voltage from the 360, instead of its own powersource. The fact its taking amps away from the board is theorectically not a good thing. You don't need a cooler, UNLESS you can't put your 360 in an open area. If you have to get one of these, may i suggest the 360 Stand instead. Some of them have batteries or they plug into the wall. That way no power is lost from the 360. These things don't extend the life of your 360, and they will not stop the 360...Read more
