I've been wary of third-party controllers for the longest time. They generally fall short of the quality provided by the first-party standard, sometimes frustratingly so; mushy buttons or triggers, loose analogue sticks and easily broken bodies are to be expected when going with the (usually) cheaper alternative. From my time spent with Power A's Mini Pro Ex for the 360 -- about two-hundred or so hours, I can say that it has been a much more pleasant experience than what I'm familiar with.

A major selling-point to me was the decreased size of the controller; I found it to be a bit more comfortable to hold and play with for extended periods of time. My hands aren't tiny, mind you; nor are they fatigued by long hours of gaming, but the difference was noted. Ergonomics-wise, the Mini Pro is shaped nicely; it doesn't feel alien in the slightest and I didn't spend much time having to get used to the thing. Comparing it to Microsoft's default game pad, the EX is much slimmer and...Read more

This product started out amazing, most comfortable controller ever, then it broke in 2 weeks of using it under normal conditions. Sucks. Started drifting up and down and couldn't stay straight.

This is an awesome controller! I love the green finish, and the illuminated buttons are awesome. It's got a nice rumbler and it is very comfortable. The right trigger was a bit sticky, but it smoothed out after about a week of use. Every thing about this controller is great, especially for the price. The only reason I am giving this controller 4 stars is because of the headset port. You can only use it for certain headsets. If you have one of the newer microsoft headsets where the mute and volume controls are on the very end of the cord where the plug in is, you cannot use it with this conrtoller. I spent a while looking and found one of the older headsets and I could then use it to chat. If you have one of the older headsets this isn't a problem, but if you are looking to chat, it is something to take into account. Other than that, I love this controller, very good deal.
