This review is from: L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition (Video Game)
This complete edition comes on 4 discs. It includes everything; the suits, the cases, the weapons, preorder content, and items that were console exclusive. There are no DLC codes to use, as everything is included on the discs.
One thing I did find out is that this edition is *not* compatible with game saves from the regular edition disc. If you have previously played the game using the regular disc, do not expect to continue your game save with this new complete edition. You will have to start over, on everything.
Please comment if you have questions, thanks!

This review is from: L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition (Video Game)
L.A. Noire oozes with 1940's style, from the costumes to the music to the setting. There are numerous references to the infamous "Black Dahlia case" of Elisabeth Short, and the acting is spot on with a lot of familiar television and b-movie actors. The new facial capture technology looks great in action, even though it tends to give a feeling of disconnection between the body and head sometimes.
You should be warned though; this is a clever and thorough game, and I'd venture to say it's not really for the casual player. If you enjoyed Mafia II or...Read more

My wife got this for me for Christmas - only she bought it cheaper at Best Buy. Sorry Amazon. She did buy the regular edition at Amazon but then bought the expanded one later. She plans on giving this one as a gift in the future instead of returning it to Amazon. I think this is a great game. I usually play War-type games so this was a nice divergance. I would say it is geared for adult players because the action is not as intense. The language can be pretty rough but certainly no more than the Call of Duty series. The hardest part for me is controlling the vehicles that you have to drive. My wife hates video games but I caught her watching this game as I played. Giving me advice on some of the detective work. The graphics are amazing. Realistic. I like that you can read the transcripts (log) while you are playing. I wasn't paying attention to everything being said by witnesses and it comes back to bite you in the butt if you don't. The log helps scroll back and read their comments...Read more
