This review is from: Kinect TV Mount Clip (Video Game) I have to admit, I was worried by the negative reviews, but I took a chance on it anyways. And I'm glad i did!
The Kinect sensor does indeed snap into the clip. As others have pointed out, you have to do one side at a time, wait until you hear the click, and do the other side. Its not intuitive, and its really easy to think the clip is defective or poorly made, but once you hear the click, you're home free. The clip doesn't really secure the sensor bar to your tv, but it allows it to rest in what appears to be a really safe position. I had seen another review mention the possibility of the sensor falling off and breaking during game play, but I just don't see that happening. Maybe if you had an ultra thin tv, or the hinge on the clip was broken....the lip on the front goes over the front edge of the tv, and the back adjusts to fit against the back of the tv. It won't be immovable, but you'd have to knock the tv or the sensor itself to move it. This review is from: Kinect TV Mount Clip (Video Game) This works fine but the only problem is that there are two rubber parts that go against the TV and one came off!
I had to reglue it. So not very impressed. It works fine now but it should not have done that. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kinect TV Mount Clip (Video Game) I recently purchased this Kinect TV mount clip and I couldn't get the Kinect to properly secure to the clip. After giving my purchase a neutral rating, a customer service representative contacted me and gave me tips to connect the two. You have to push the Kinect and clip together firmly, one side at a time. Don't be afraid to push firmly! Once trying this tip, they clicked together and it works great! |
