I recently (08-2011) bought this adapter and brick for my x-box 360. The x-box is about 8 years old. The original adapter went out so I bought this as a replacement. Initially I noticed that the brick got really hot. Then I started noticing that the red light started coming on, which was the problem with the original one. Now it does not work at all and its only three months old. I do not recommend that anyone buy this kit from HQRP. Their stuff is refurbished and they don't stand behind their product at all. If they had a minus star I would have use that. I did not pay attention when I read the reviews on this so I blame me too. Read this and look for original Microsoft stuff.
