First impression. This is a cheaply crafted device. Low weight, mostly plastic.

The hub causes photo transfer failure while downloading photos from a camera to the computer. There is normal downloading when the camera is plugged directly into the computer.

Backups to a thumb drive that take about a minute while directly plugged into the computer take at least three minutes via the hub.

Overall, I highly do not recommend this hub. Buy one with a good reputation.

I haven't used this very long yet but it works great and does all it says plus what a great price. Also very speedy shipping when I ordered it. I am using it on an Hp G72 laptop running Windows 7 which didn't have enough usb ports for all the things I needed to plug into it such as Hp printer, ham radio to computer interface, digital interface from ham radio for digital decoding and also wirless mouse for laptop. So far all working fine. Order through Amazon form HDE in Allentown, Pa. [...]

I received the hub promptly, hooked it up and it works great. I like the vertical style. It takes up less space and allows for much better organization than a flat style.
