Hard Drive Data Migration Transfer Cable Kit 4 Xbox 360

I know this product is a bit difficult to find but it's AT MOST $20! No one should pay 47 dollars for this!

I bought this figuring I would switch saved games from my old 360 to my new 360. When I discovered I had to run the CD on a computer to get the device to work, I was annoyed but hopeful. When I ran the CD my laptop showed a Trojan on it. I did as the instructions said and "ran as administrator". This put a trojan onto my laptop which I later had to remove. I looked online to find out about this, and discovered the program is known to have a Trojan.
I figured out how to use the program regardless of the Trojan, but it somehow has now erased my original hard drive of 1.5 GB worth of saved games, and ruined my recently purchased 20 GB hard drive so it won't even show up on my X-box.
I am now hoping to return it as it is now worthless to me because it ruined my saved games.
Amazon should not have allowed this to be sold, due to the fact that it is known and documented to have a Trojan on the CD itself.
