I am a mechanical designer so that involves viewing computer screens for 40+ hrs a week (business days). Between my two LCDs and the office lights, my eyes were extremely tired constantly. I found it took longer to change focus between near and far objects. My eyes also developed this... twitching that seemed to not go away. Well, long story short, I got these glasses and have been wearing them for about 2 weeks, and no more twitching.
I don't know if it is just a mental thing like those "power bracelets" or whatever other infomercial crap (at least that's what I thought of at first), but these do seem to work for me.
The frame appears to be metal (magnetic) and powder-coated silver (mercury color frame). Lenses appear to be of quality with stated coating. Overall, a good investment for my eyes.

I've had these for about 1.5 years now, and use them every day. I suffer from migraines induced by light sensitivity and am especially vulnerable when exposed to bright white light. As someone whose work involves computer science, staring at a screen for hours on end resulted in daily headaches. These glasses, however, have greatly reduced the frequency of my migraines. I rely on them so much I'm almost tempted to buy a second pair in case something happens to the glasses that I own now. If you don't suffer from headaches or experience computer-related eyestrain, these are probably unnecessary; my husband did try them on once and enjoyed them, however.
Aesthetically, the frame is very nice but the lenses are rather bizarre. I get some strange looks every now and then, but couldn't care less because the glasses help so much!
Don't worry that the glasses will be damaged during shipping - they come in a sturdy case which is itself inside a strong cardboard box. A...Read more

I have 20/20 vision, but after staring at a computer screen for several hours a day, my eyes were in a world of pain. I ordered these glasses based on the other reviews, and I have to say that they are even better than I anticipated. They feel very light on my face, and my eyes are no longer aching after hours of computer work. I've even received compliments on how they look. One person said they look "very European". Overall, I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad I didn't have to spend a lot of money on prescription eyeglasses to solve my problem.
