Special Edition Halo 3 Green Wireless Controller

I think this is a Chinese knock off, albeit a good knockoff. The first clue is the Chinese shipping package I got. Second is you can tell its cheaper plastic. Third the Center Xbox button is not quite what you see in official Microsoft controllers. Also the D-Pad didn't fit together like regular controllers. It took me several hours to figure out how to swap the parts which you have to google everything. In the end the controller looked good but didn't really fit together very well. In the end one of the analogue sticks was sticking to the back and to the left and sometimes to the front. This can be fixed with some sanding.

In the end I say its not worth the money.

Like some others this looks like a knockoff, but the controller does look a lot like the halo 3 controller. Shipping took a decent time, it didn't come with any tool to open the controller (I had one fortunately), and it handles well when put together. However I had a big load of trouble with the sync button and LB RB buttons. They were made into 3 pieces contrary to the OEM controller's 1 piece. That sync button kept falling out easily when trying to screw everything back together.

If you don't mind the trouble, it's a great looking shell to buy for the price.

This as you know if you read the other reviews this is not an OEM Microsoft controller shell. It is a decent knock off, but a knock off none the less. When you break everything down make sure you keep some of your OEM parts from your previous control handy you will need them. The thing is that when your done with this one, when you screw it down was tight, but there was still gaps in the front and back not major gaps but gaps none the less. I got it last week wasn't impressed but I needed a shell my black control was smoothed out with the year of gripping it to play games. Point is if you want a decent housing to replace an old one get this, but if you want an authentic control housing DO NOT BUY. I can be picky but I needed a new shell, and I looked on other pages but I could not find an OEM. It's not the best, but its ok for what it is. I think the sellers should offer free shipping, because in hindsight that $13.00 dollar total is not worth it.
