The Blockhead Hit Kit is a set of accessories designed for use with the Rock Band (and only the Rock Band) drum kits. All of the items will work with any of these kits, including the Rock Band kits across the Wii, 360, and PS2/3. Inside the box you'll find a pair of composite drumsticks, a set of drum head silencers, and an adjustable bass pedal that can serve as a replacement to the one you already have. The accessories really are hit or miss.

The drumsticks are actually quite nice. They are made of a composite fiber and as such are heavier than the wooden sticks that come with the game. It all comes down to personal preference on whether you'll like these more than the default RB sticks.

A demonstration of the Block Head drum pad kit. Listen for the drum sounds, or lack of them. One must use excessive force to overcome the dulled sensitivity caused by the pads. I am an adult male and I was using considerable strength; the amount of force I was using to get the sounds to come out would pop a hole in a real drum head. I imagine a child would have far greater difficulty with this item, and may not even have the strength to make it work, Furthermore, I wouldn't want to train a small child to hit anything that hard; one missed swing with a pointed stick at that velocity could cause harm in any number of ways.

this was the worst rockband product i ever bought. the foot pedal lasted a whole 6 songs before it broke completely in half. the silencers it comes with are horrible, they dont even stay on for the whole song. the only thing that was good were the drum sticks but only because i like my drum sticks a little heavier than the original ones. overall please dont waste your money on this. i know its cheap but honestly you get what you pay for.
