This headset does not work as it should. The mic on this is not sensitive enough to pick up your voice at a normal volume in the intended position. To get it to work, I had to have the earpiece on my cheek in order for the mic to pick up my voice without shouting.

I honestly do not know why GameStop and Amazon reviewers give this headset a bad rep. It is a good headset that I bought as a replacement for my ailing 2 year old Plantronics X10s. The mic picks everything I say up. And I don't have to shout! I give this mic a 5/5 for being such a great product! :)
